Vajazzling

“Vajazzling” est un terme anglais décrivant un traitement cosmétique qui consiste à décorer la vulve et/ou la région pubienne avec des joyaux. L’imposition de cette pratique sur les plantes démontre la tendance des humains à vouloir modifier et transformer son entourage pour le meilleur et pour pire de tous les êtres vivant sur cette Terre.

Cette œuvre a été créée pour l’exposition The Environmental Justice dans la galerie du Port Loggia à Halifax. 

Vajazzling is a cosmetic treatment which consists of decorating the woman’s vulva and/or pubic area with jewels. The imposition of this practice to the plants demonstrates the human’s tradition for changing, modifying and transforming its surroundings for the better and for the worse of all living being on this Earth.
